Seton Shrine Unveils New Website

EMMITSBURG, MD ~ December 10, 2007
The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton has developed and launched a new, expanded web presence at www.setonshrine.org. The website has been completely redesigned and developed to reflect the wealth of resources and services available at the Shrine and the enduring legacy of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

New features have been added to highlight Shrine sites and accommodate Shrine visitors in preparing for group tours, scheduling retreats, and making donations. The site now incorporates secure online donations and the ability for visitors to request newsletters and notifications by email.

In anticipation of the 2009 Bicentennial celebration of the Seton Legacy, development of the site will continue with the addition of online sales for the Shrine Gift Shop and an interactive map and tour guide for this historical location.
